Today, Ledo Pizza is known as the original Maryland-Style Pizza, however, that wasn’t always the case. In 1955, when Ledo Pizza first opened its doors in Adelphi, Maryland by Bob Beall, pizza seemed to be a passing trend. Word of mouth spread quickly making LEDO a favorite spot for local residents, the University of Maryland community, and the Washington Senators.

The reason why is simple. Ledo Pizza  provides high-quality food at a great value in a comfortable, family atmosphere. Each LEDO Pizza is rolled to order with fresh handmade dough topped with the same high-quality cheese and the same style tomatoes as in 1955. The Thin, Flakey Crust, Sweet Sauce, 100% Smoked Provolone Cheese helped provide the taste people have grown to love.
